Transactional Analysis (Passion for Life).

Transactional Analysis( my main approach) started as a theory of personality, communications and relationships. Nowadays, besides being a great theory for explaining social interactions, and for creating healthy communication, it also gives a theory of child development and describes how the world shaped us as human beings.

Transactional Analysis includes a variety of schools created and developed by diverse minds, which offer a variety of tools that are used to enhance the understanding of self and others and create better communication with others. As we all have similarities and differences at the same time, the complexity of Transactional Analysis theory fits every need. It is also a theory that promotes autonomy, accountability and freedom from old patterns of thinking or behaving. It is a theory for personal growth and personal change.

The passion for life starts with awareness, stripping away old stuff that does not represent us and consciously choosing and creating new pathways.

Passion for life

1. Transactional Analysis' Philosophy.

-I'm okay, you are okay

-Everyone has the capacity to think

-People can decide their own destiny and these decisions can be changed.

As human beings, we are born with equal rights and the same capacity to achive what we want. Once we submerge into the world we start accumulating messages and set aside who we are inside. Little by little, what we take from the world becomes a burden. Other challenges and trauma will add and that will also stop our capacity to remember who we are. The world speaks about happiness as something that can be acquired from outside and that works for a while until it doesn't anymore. The happiness is in us, is a journey, and it is now. The self-discovery is different for each of us. The therapy creates a space where to experience, a space where to explore and practice. I see psychotherapists as mountain guides that travel with you, on the pathway. They have been there before, they know the mountain. They know where a path might take you, where it is safe to climb, where you need a push, but they can't travel the pathway for you. They also understand that your experience of the mountain and the world is unique and every person needs to be seen and understood accordingly.
